Pankhurst Centre
Campaign Against Domestic Abuse

The Pankhurst Centre is a women’s centre and community space where those suffering from domestic violence and abuse can get the confidential help they need.

The brief was to create a series of posters required to address domestic violence and abuse for a seriously underrepresented demographic of 50 years and older. It was important that the designs did not patronise and the language used was carefully considered. Thought-provoking questions and repetition were used to assist older women and men to recognise abusive behaviours and guide them towards help.
